Birds of the Xavante

The top 5 birds spotted in the location that the Xavante live in (Mato Grosso, Brazil) are: Great Egret, Cattle Egret, Black Bellied Whistling duck, Wood Stork, and Snail Kite. Xavante Cosmos

The Xavante are more concerned with changes or discovery. Xavante believe that the east,the beginning of the sky,had not been created yet. The north and the south were created afterwards, as well as the whites and their towns. More detailed origin myths tell about people becoming human after being like animals.
