Xavante Cosmos

The Xavante are more concerned with changes or discovery. Xavante believe that the east, the beginning of the sky,had not been created yet. The north and the south were created afterwards, as well as the whites and their towns. More detailed origin myths tell about people becoming human after being like animals. The beliefs and ceremonies of the Xavante revolve around their reverence for life and fertility.(everyculture.com).
They believe that the stars are the eyes of heavenly people who are watching us from up above.
